Privacy policy
What personal information Nashville 10 collects, why, which providers handle it and how to use your privacy rights under US law.
Summary
Nashville 10 (nashville10.com) collects as little personal information as a website can. There are no ads on the site, no Google AdSense and no tracking or advertising cookies, and nobody buys personal information from us; we pass none on for advertising either.
Information we collect
When you browse: the technical data your browser sends with every request, like IP address, browser and the page asked for, used to deliver pages and stop abuse. When you email us: your address and whatever you write. When a business owner signs in: the email used to sign in, the listing details they edit and, if they subscribe to a plan, billing records.
Cookies and statistics
Visitors get no cookies at all. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not build profiles. The “For businesses” area sets a single session cookie so owners stay signed in, and its forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam bots.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site, protects it, measures visits and carries our email. Stripe processes plan payments; card numbers go straight to Stripe and never reach us. Map tiles load from OpenFreeMap, and the business search inside “For businesses” queries Google Maps. Each provider handles data only for that task.
Retention
Server logs are kept only briefly for security. Emails stay for as long as the conversation needs. Business accounts last while they are active; payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and opt out of its sale or sharing. None of your personal information is sold or shared, and we hold no sensitive personal information. Exercising these rights will never affect how you are treated on the site.
Tennessee and other states
The Tennessee Information Protection Act and the privacy laws of Texas, Virginia, Colorado and a growing list of states give their residents similar rights of access, correction, deletion and opt-out. We honor those requests from anyone, whatever state they live in. Send them to info@nashville10.com; we may ask you to confirm from the same email address, and we answer within 45 days.
Children
Nashville 10 is written for adults. It is not aimed at children under 13, and we never knowingly gather information about them.
Updates
If the site or the law changes, this policy will too. The version on this page is the one in force. Last updated: October 2026.
